Museums: Museums in Cascais are closed on Mondays. Most are open from Tuesday and Sunday, from 10h00 to 18h00, with a lunch break from 13h00 to 14h00. However, not all museums close for lunch. You can easily find details information, including schedules, prices, and descriptions of all the museums here.

Some highlights in Cascais are: fortaleza cidadela, museu Paula rego, centro cultural Cascais, museu conde Castro Guimarães, farol Santa Marta.

Bike ride: Cascais has a 10 km bike path along the sea side starting at Estoril (paredão) or farol Santa Marta (near Cascais Bay). The route follows the coast, offering panoramic views. Along the way, you will pass landmarks such as Boca do Inferno, and the path ends at Guincho Beach – a must-see destination in Cascais.

Bikes and scooters for rent

Cascais council has rental bikes, called Bicas. They are available for rental from 8:00 and must be returned by 19:30. To rent a Bica, visit one of these offices with your official ID (must be valid). There are three main rental offices where you can rent the Bicas. Electric bike: 4€ for 1h rental, €10 for a whole day.l
Electric Scooter: 6€ for 30 minutes rental, 10€ for 4h rental, and 15€ for 4h rental.

Price is calculated based on unlocking fare and minute rate.
